Everyone in the Pool

I’m an American liv­ing in Saxony, and we “Saxons” hap­pen to live next to the State of Thuringia where the best bratwusts come from (http://​en​.wikipedia​.org/​w​i​k​i​/​T​h​u​r​i​n​g​i​a​n​_​s​a​u​s​age) and they are also soaked in beer before grilling. The Thuringians take grilling seri­ously and I’m amazed at the large num­ber of pub­lic (pick­nic) grill sites to be found all over the state.
