  Was there a point to that, or was he just masturbating? Is he just mad that Apple doesn't consider ilounge to have real journalists worthy of getting review units?

  Also, Apple does bulk ship iPods, just only in fixed quantities. I think nanos are bulked shipped in increments of 12, 9 is a number less than 12, so that's why they got 9 boxes instead of 1. But why bother with research?

  I've long since stopped trying to figure out what Jeremy's beef with Apple it. I think it has to do with the fact that Steve Jobs doesn't personally notify him about each product launch. It's basically MacMac entitletardetry and New Media Douchebaggery taken to the extreme.

  The only thing I can't figure out is why anyone takes iLounge seriously.

  There was a point, about the time the 3G iPod came out, where there was burgeoning interest in these new products, but the traditional media – and even established Apple sites – really didn't cater to that interest. The vacuum was filled by shit sites like iLounge, iPod Observer and iPod Garage (iProng, WTF-ever) which have taken off not because they offer anything valuable, but because they got in on the ground floor and a new generation of Apple product buyers unknowingly accepted them as legitimate.

  You have to love the comments to the post. All sucking iLounge and Jeremy's cock. I posted a comment that disagreed with some of what he said, and it was removed. I briefly saw some other commenters complaining about getting their comments removed as well, so it looks like iLounge is just removing all comments disagreeing with them. Awesome.
