The Angry Drunk

The question presents itself. Why update this blog at all? Why keep a journal that is the very antithesis of ‘private,’ when I can empirically show that I have no audience? I think, that for myself, the answer is multi-fold. First, I suppose that this exercise is exactly that; keeping my hand in the various web technologies that power such a site. Secondly, I think that the archaeologist in me recognizes a tiny attempt to leave something that may be sifted out of the digital midden of history. A PHP and HTML driven cry of “Killroy Was Here!” And I suppose that lastly there is some small futile hope that there really is an audience. That someone may yet hear the voice in the darkness.
